saḥ bhṛguputraḥ hi svasaṃvidaḥ nirmalatvāt muktaḥ prathamadṛṣṭena dṛśyena āśu svabhāvataḥ baddhaḥ.

Indeed, that son of Bhrigu (Bhṛgupuṭra) was liberated due to the purity of his own consciousness, yet he was also quickly bound by the first object he perceived, by his very nature.
