योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-39, verse-8

रक्तवारिमयी सायमङ्गगुप्तशिलीमुखा ।
संकुचद्वक्त्रपद्माभूद्रणभूमिरिवाब्जिनी ॥ ८ ॥

8. In the evening, the battlefield became like a lotus pond: it was full of bloody water, with arrows hidden in the bodies, and with shrinking lotus-like faces.
