वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-90, verse-5

प्रत्युद्गम्य च काकुत्स्थः क्रोशमात्रं सहानुगः ।
गार्ग्यं संपूजयामास धनं तत् प्रतिगृह्य च ॥५॥
5. pratyudgamya ca kākutsthaḥ krośamātraṃ sahānugaḥ ,
gārgyaṃ saṃpūjayāmāsa dhanaṃ tat pratigṛhya ca.

gārgyam saṃpūjayāmāsa ghanam tat pratigṛhya ca

5. And Kākutstha (Rāma), accompanied by his followers, went forth for about a krośa to meet Gārgya. After receiving those gifts, he greatly honored him.
