वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-94, verse-29

ततो निरीक्ष्यात्मगतानि राघवो रणे निमित्तानि निमित्तकोविदः ।
जगाम हर्षं च परां च निर्वृतिं चकार युद्धे ऽभ्यधिकं च विक्रमम् ॥२९॥
29. tato nirīkṣyātmagatāni rāghavo raṇe nimittāni nimittakovidaḥ ,
jagāma harṣaṃ ca parāṃ ca nirvṛtiṃ cakāra yuddhe'bhyadhikaṃ ca vikramam.
29. tataḥ nirīkṣya ātmagatāni rāghavaḥ
raṇe nimittāni nimittakovidaḥ jagāma

29. Then, Rama (rāghava), an expert in omens, observing the favorable signs pertaining to his own self (ātman) in battle, felt great joy and supreme contentment, and displayed even greater valor in the fight.
