O scorcher of foes, you are thousand-horned, whose essence is the Vedas (vedātmā), hundred-tongued, and the great bull. You are the Vedic ritual (yajña), you are the 'Vaṣaṭ' invocation (vaṣaṭkāra), and you are the sacred syllable Om (oṃkāra).
