वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-38, verse-2

त्वां दृष्ट्वा प्रियवक्तारं संप्रहृष्यामि वानर ।
अर्धसंजातसस्येव वृष्टिं प्राप्य वसुंधरा ॥२॥
2. tvāṃ dṛṣṭvā priyavaktāraṃ saṃprahṛṣyāmi vānara ,
ardhasaṃjātasasyeva vṛṣṭiṃ prāpya vasuṃdharā.
2. tvām dṛṣṭvā priyavaktāram samprahṛṣyāmi vānara
ardhasaṃjātasasyā iva vṛṣṭim prāpya vasundharā
2. vānara priyavaktāram tvām dṛṣṭvā aham samprahṛṣyāmi
ardhasaṃjātasasyā vasundharā vṛṣṭim prāpya iva
2. O monkey, having seen you, a speaker of pleasing words, I greatly rejoice, just as the earth rejoices upon receiving rain when its crops are half-grown.
