वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-38, verse-13

त्वच्छोकविमुखो रामो देवि सत्येन ते शपे ।
रामे शोकाभिभूते तु लक्ष्मणः परितप्यते ॥१३॥
13. tvacchokavimukho rāmo devi satyena te śape ,
rāme śokābhibhūte tu lakṣmaṇaḥ paritapyate.

13. O goddess, Rāma is distressed by your sorrow; I swear this to you by truth. But when Rāma himself is overcome by grief, Lakṣmaṇa suffers intensely.
