वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-21, verse-26

प्रवृद्धमन्युस्तु खरः खरस्वनो रिपोर्वधार्थं त्वरितो यथान्तकः ।
अचूचुदत् सारथिमुन्नदन्पुनर्महाबलो मेघ इवाश्मवर्षवान् ॥२६॥
26. pravṛddhamanyustu kharaḥ kharasvano riporvadhārthaṃ tvarito yathāntakaḥ ,
acūcudat sārathimunnadanpunarmahābalo megha ivāśmavarṣavān.

ripoḥ vadhārtham tvaritaḥ yathā

aśmavarṣavān meghaḥ iva sārathim acūcudat
26. But Khara, his rage greatly intensified and with a harsh roar, hastened for the destruction of the enemy like Antaka (the god of death). Again, mighty like a cloud showering stones (or hail), he roared and urged the charioteer.
