वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-15, verse-38

तर्पयित्वाथ सलिलैस्ते पितॄन्दैवतानि च ।
स्तुवन्ति स्मोदितं सूर्यं देवताश्च समाहिताः ॥३८॥
38. tarpayitvātha salilaiste pitṝndaivatāni ca ,
stuvanti smoditaṃ sūryaṃ devatāśca samāhitāḥ.

stuvanti sma uditaṃ sūryaṃ devatāḥ ca samāhitāḥ

38. Then, having offered libations of water to their ancestors and to the deities, they praised the risen sun, while the deities (themselves) remained attentive.
