वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-65, verse-26

इत्येवमुक्त्वा भरतः सूतं तं दीनमानसः ।
तान्यनिष्टान्ययोध्यायां प्रेक्ष्य राजगृहं ययौ ॥२६॥
26. ityevamuktvā bharataḥ sūtaṃ taṃ dīnamānasaḥ ,
tānyaniṣṭānyayodhyāyāṃ prekṣya rājagṛhaṃ yayau.
26. iti evam uktvā bharataḥ sūtam tam dīna-mānasaḥ
tāni aniṣṭāni ayodhyāyām prekṣya rāja-gṛham yayau

26. Having said this to the charioteer, Bharata, with a miserable mind, and after observing those inauspicious signs in Ayodhyā, went to the royal palace.
