वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-65, verse-18

उद्यानानि हि सायाह्ने क्रीडित्वोपरतैर्नरैः ।
समन्ताद्विप्रधावद्भिः प्रकाशन्ते ममान्यदा ॥१८॥
18. udyānāni hi sāyāhne krīḍitvoparatairnaraiḥ ,
samantādvipradhāvadbhiḥ prakāśante mamānyadā.

18. Indeed, at other times (formerly), in the evening, the gardens used to appear radiant to me, (bustling) with men who, having played and then ceased their specific games, were running about in all directions.
