वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-5, verse-7

स चैनं प्रश्रितं दृष्ट्वा संभाष्याभिप्रसाद्य च ।
प्रियार्हं हर्षयन् राममित्युवाच पुरोहितः ॥७॥
7. sa cainaṃ praśritaṃ dṛṣṭvā saṃbhāṣyābhiprasādya ca ,
priyārhaṃ harṣayan rāmamityuvāca purohitaḥ.
7. saḥ ca enam praśritam dṛṣṭvā saṃbhāṣya abhiprasādya
ca priyārham harṣayan rāmam iti uvāca purohitaḥ
7. saḥ purohitaḥ praśritam enam dṛṣṭvā saṃbhāṣya
abhiprasādya ca priyārham rāmam harṣayan iti uvāca
7. The priest (Viśvāmitra), seeing him (Rāma) humble and submissive, conversing with him and pleasing him, and making Rāma, who was worthy of affection, joyful, spoke thus.
