वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-5, verse-6

अभ्येत्य त्वरमाणश्च रथाभ्याशं मनीषिणः ।
ततो ऽवतारयामास परिगृह्य रथात् स्वयम् ॥६॥
6. abhyetya tvaramāṇaśca rathābhyāśaṃ manīṣiṇaḥ ,
tato'vatārayāmāsa parigṛhya rathāt svayam.
