वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-1, chapter-74, verse-15

अभिप्रायं तु विज्ञाय देवतानां पितामहः ।
विरोधं जनयामास तयोः सत्यवतां वरः ॥१५॥
15. abhiprāyaṃ tu vijñāya devatānāṃ pitāmahaḥ ,
virodhaṃ janayāmāsa tayoḥ satyavatāṃ varaḥ.

15. But having understood the intention of the deities, the Grandfather (Brahma), who is the best among the truthful ones, then created a conflict between the two of them.
