वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-1, chapter-44, verse-8

उत्तरं तीरमासाद्य संपूज्यर्षिगणं तथ ।
गङ्गाकूले निविष्टास्ते विशालां ददृशुः पुरीम् ॥८॥
8. uttaraṃ tīramāsādya saṃpūjyarṣigaṇaṃ tatha ,
gaṅgākūle niviṣṭāste viśālāṃ dadṛśuḥ purīm.
8. uttaram tīram āsādya saṃpūjya ṛṣi-gaṇam tathā
gaṅgā-kūle niviṣṭāḥ te viśālām dadṛśuḥ purīm
8. te uttaram tīram āsādya ṛṣi-gaṇam saṃpūjya

8. After reaching the northern bank and honoring the assembly of sages, they settled on the bank of the Gaṅgā and saw the city of Viśālā.
