न ताः स्म प्रतिगृह्णन्ति सर्वे ते देवदानवाः ।
अप्रतिग्रहणाच्चैव तेन साधारणाः स्मृताः ॥२०॥

20. na tāḥ sma pratigṛhṇanti sarve te devadānavāḥ ,
apratigrahaṇāccaiva tena sādhāraṇāḥ smṛtāḥ.

20. All those gods and demons did not accept them (referring to the previously mentioned substances). And indeed, because of that non-acceptance, they were considered common (or shared).
