वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-1, chapter-39, verse-25

ते तं यज्ञहनं ज्ञात्वा क्रोधपर्याकुलेक्षणाः ।
अभ्यधावन्त संक्रुद्धास्तिष्ठ तिष्ठेति चाब्रुवन् ॥२५॥
25. te taṃ yajñahanaṃ jñātvā krodhaparyākulekṣaṇāḥ ,
abhyadhāvanta saṃkruddhāstiṣṭha tiṣṭheti cābruvan.
25. te tam yajña-hanam jñātvā krodha-paryākula-īkṣaṇāḥ |
abhyadhāvanta saṃkruddhāḥ tiṣṭha tiṣṭha iti ca abruvan
25. te tam yajña-hanam jñātvā krodha-paryākula-īkṣaṇāḥ
saṃkruddhāḥ abhyadhāvanta ca "tiṣṭha tiṣṭha" iti abruvan
25. Knowing him to be the destroyer of the Vedic ritual (yajña), they, with eyes agitated by fury, rushed towards him, highly enraged, and cried, 'Stop! Stop!'
