वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-1, chapter-15, verse-6

अवज्ञाताः पुरा तेन वरदानेन मानवाः ।
तस्मात्तस्य वधो दृष्टो मानुषेभ्यः परंतप ॥६॥
6. avajñātāḥ purā tena varadānena mānavāḥ ,
tasmāttasya vadho dṛṣṭo mānuṣebhyaḥ paraṃtapa.
