मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-84, verse-8

यस्याः समस्तसुरता समुदीरणेन तृप्तिं प्रयान्ति सकलेषु मखेषु देवि ।
स्वाहासि वै पितृगणस्य च तृप्तिहेतुर् उच्चार्यसे त्वमत एव जनैः स्वधा च ॥८॥
8. yasyāḥ samastasuratā samudīraṇena tṛptiṃ prayānti sakaleṣu makheṣu devi .
svāhāsi vai pitṛgaṇasya ca tṛptihetur uccāryase tvamata eva janaiḥ svadhā ca.

8. O Goddess, it is by invoking your name during all sacrifices that the entire host of gods attains satisfaction. You are indeed Svāhā, and also the cause of gratification for the assembly of ancestors (pitṛgaṇa). For this very reason, people also invoke you as Svadhā.
