मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-84, verse-37

पुनश्च गौरीदेहात् सा समुद्भूता यथाभवत् ।
वधाय दुष्टदैत्यानां तथा शुम्भनिशुम्भयोः ॥३७॥
37. punaśca gaurīdehāt sā samudbhūtā yathābhavat .
vadhāya duṣṭadaityānāṃ tathā śumbhaniśumbhayoḥ.
37. punas ca gaurīdehāt sā samudbhūtā yathā abhavat
vadhāya duṣṭadaityānām tathā śumbhaniśumbhayoḥ
37. I will explain how she again manifested from the body of Gaurī, for the purpose of slaying wicked demons, including Śumbha and Niśumbha.
