11.
O Goddess, you are intellect (medhā), whose essence is the knowledge of all scriptures. You are Durgā, the unattached boat that helps cross the difficult ocean of worldly existence (saṃsāra). You are Śrī (Lakṣmī), who has made the heart of Kaiṭabha's enemy (Viṣṇu) her exclusive abode. You alone are Gaurī (Pārvatī), who has established herself on Śaśimauli (Śiva).
