रक्षणाय च लोकानां देवानामुपकारिणी ।
तच्छृणुष्व मयाऽख्यातं यथावत्कथयामि ते ॥३८॥

And for the protection of the worlds, she was the benefactor of the gods. Listen to that account, which I will narrate to you accurately.
