महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-58, verse-15

मा शिरोऽस्य पदा मर्दीर्मा धर्मस्तेऽत्यगान्महान् ।
राजा ज्ञातिर्हतश्चायं नैतन्न्याय्यं तवानघ ॥१५॥
15. mā śiro'sya padā mardīrmā dharmaste'tyagānmahān ,
rājā jñātirhataścāyaṁ naitannyāyyaṁ tavānagha.
15. mā śiraḥ asya padā mardīḥ mā dharmaḥ te atyagāt mahān
rājā jñātiḥ hataḥ ca ayam na etat nyāyyam tava anagha
15. anagha,
asya śiraḥ padā mā mardīḥ.
te mahān dharmaḥ mā atyagāt.
ayam rājā jñātiḥ ca hataḥ.
etat tava na nyāyyam.
15. Do not crush his head with your foot. Let not your great virtue (dharma) depart from you. This king, your kinsman, is slain. This is not proper for you, O sinless one.
