महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-82, verse-2

पदातीनां सहस्रं च सादिनां च परंतप ।
भोज्यं च विपुलं राजन्प्रेष्याश्च शतशोऽपरे ॥२॥
2. padātīnāṁ sahasraṁ ca sādināṁ ca paraṁtapa ,
bhojyaṁ ca vipulaṁ rājanpreṣyāśca śataśo'pare.

bhojyam ca vipulam rājan preṣyāḥ ca śataśaḥ apare
2. O tormentor of foes, O king, a thousand foot soldiers and horsemen, along with abundant provisions and hundreds of other servants, also followed.
