महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-18, verse-9

संपूज्य सर्वांस्त्रिदशानृषींश्चापि तपोधनान् ।
इन्द्रः प्रमुदितो राजन्धर्मेणापालयत्प्रजाः ॥९॥
9. saṁpūjya sarvāṁstridaśānṛṣīṁścāpi tapodhanān ,
indraḥ pramudito rājandharmeṇāpālayatprajāḥ.
9. sampūjya sarvān tridaśān ṛṣīn ca api tapodhanān |
indraḥ pramuditaḥ rājan dharmeṇa apālayat prajāḥ
9. O king, after worshipping all the gods and also the sages who possessed great ascetic power (tapas), Indra, delighted, protected his subjects with righteousness (dharma).
