महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-18, verse-21

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
एवमाश्वासितो राजा शल्येन भरतर्षभ ।
पूजयामास विधिवच्छल्यं धर्मभृतां वरः ॥२१॥
21. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
evamāśvāsito rājā śalyena bharatarṣabha ,
pūjayāmāsa vidhivacchalyaṁ dharmabhṛtāṁ varaḥ.
21. vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca evam āśvāsitaḥ rājā śalyena
bharatarṣabha pūjayām āsa vidhivat śalyam dharmabhṛtām varaḥ
21. Vaishaṃpāyana said: O best of the Bharatas, thus consoled by Śalya, the king, who was the foremost among those upholding natural law (dharma), honored Śalya properly.
