महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-7, verse-23

पाण्डोः सुता यादृशा मे तादृशा मे सुतास्तव ।
दीना इति हि मे बुद्धिरभिपन्नाद्य तान्प्रति ॥२३॥
23. pāṇḍoḥ sutā yādṛśā me tādṛśā me sutāstava ,
dīnā iti hi me buddhirabhipannādya tānprati.
23. pāṇḍoḥ sutāḥ yādṛśāḥ me tādṛśāḥ me sutāḥ tava
dīnāḥ iti hi me buddhiḥ abhipannā adya tān prati
23. Pāṇḍu's sons are like my own (to me), and my sons are like your own (to you). Indeed, the thought that they are distressed (dīnāḥ) has now come upon my mind concerning them.
