महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-7, verse-22

भवन्ति हि नरव्याघ्र पुरुषा धर्मचेतसः ।
दीनाभिपातिनो राजन्नात्र कार्या विचारणा ॥२२॥
22. bhavanti hi naravyāghra puruṣā dharmacetasaḥ ,
dīnābhipātino rājannātra kāryā vicāraṇā.

22. Indeed, O tiger among men, O King, persons whose minds are directed towards righteousness (dharma) become protectors of the distressed. No deliberation is required in this matter.
