महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-234, verse-24

अन्तर्धानवधं चास्य चक्रे क्रुद्धोऽर्जुनस्तदा ।
शब्दवेध्यमुपाश्रित्य बहुरूपो धनंजयः ॥२४॥
24. antardhānavadhaṁ cāsya cakre kruddho'rjunastadā ,
śabdavedhyamupāśritya bahurūpo dhanaṁjayaḥ.
24. antardhānavadham ca asya cakre kruddhaḥ arjunaḥ
tadā śabdavedhyam upāśritya bahurūpaḥ dhanañjayaḥ
24. Then, enraged Arjuna (Dhanañjaya), who could assume many forms, put an end to his (the enemy's) power of disappearance (antardhāna-vadha) by employing the sound-piercing (śabdavedhya) weapon.
