अजानता कृतमिदं मयेत्यथ तमब्रुवम् ।
क्षन्तुमर्हसि मे ब्रह्मन्निति चोक्तो मया मुनिः ॥२८॥

My mind was greatly distressed because of this improper act. I then said to him, 'This was done by me unknowingly. O Brahmin, you should forgive me.' After I spoke to the sage in this way...
