महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-205, verse-12

व्याध उवाच ।
दैवतप्रतिमो हि त्वं यस्त्वं धर्ममनुव्रतः ।
पुराणं शाश्वतं दिव्यं दुष्प्रापमकृतात्मभिः ॥१२॥
12. vyādha uvāca ,
daivatapratimo hi tvaṁ yastvaṁ dharmamanuvrataḥ ,
purāṇaṁ śāśvataṁ divyaṁ duṣprāpamakṛtātmabhiḥ.
12. vyādhaḥ uvāca daivatapratimaḥ hi tvam yaḥ tvam dharmam
anuvrataḥ purāṇam śāśvatam divyam duṣprāpam akṛtātmabhiḥ
12. The fowler said: "Indeed, you are like a deity, you who consistently follow the natural law (dharma). That law is ancient, eternal, divine, and difficult to attain for those whose inner self (ātman) is not purified."
