नापराध्याम्यहं किंचित्केन पापमिदं कृतम् ॥२६॥

Having fallen to the ground, O brahmin, he spoke, his voice echoing (with pain): "I have not committed any offense (aparādhyāmi). By whom has this sin been done?"
