महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-18, verse-7

जलेचरः काञ्चनयष्टिसंस्थो व्यात्ताननः सर्वतिमिप्रमाथी ।
वित्रासयन्राजति वाहमुख्ये शाल्वस्य सेनाप्रमुखे ध्वजाग्र्यः ॥७॥

vitrāsayanrājati vāhamukhye; śālvasya senāpramukhe dhvajāgryaḥ.

7. At the forefront of Śālva's army, on his main vehicle, a magnificent banner prominently displayed an aquatic creature. This emblem, fixed to a golden staff, had its mouth wide open, terrifying all as if it were the destroyer of all mighty sea creatures.
