महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-167, verse-4

तच्छूलवर्षं सुमहद्गदाशक्तिसमाकुलम् ।
अनिशं सृज्यमानं तैरपतन्मद्रथोपरि ॥४॥
4. tacchūlavarṣaṁ sumahadgadāśaktisamākulam ,
aniśaṁ sṛjyamānaṁ tairapatanmadrathopari.
4. tat śūlavarṣam sumahat gadāśaktisamākulam
aniśam sṛjyamānam taiḥ apatat madrathopari
4. That enormous shower of spears, mixed with maces and lances (śakti), which was continuously hurled by them, fell upon my chariot.
