महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-167, verse-22

गाण्डीवाद्धि तदा संख्ये यथा भ्रमरपङ्क्तयः ।
निष्पतन्ति तथा बाणास्तन्मातलिरपूजयत् ॥२२॥

22. gāṇḍīvāddhi tadā saṁkhye yathā bhramarapaṅktayaḥ ,
niṣpatanti tathā bāṇāstanmātalirapūjayat.

niṣpatanti tathā bāṇāḥ tat mātaliḥ apūjayat

22. Indeed, then in battle, just as swarms of bees fly out, so did arrows issue from the Gāṇḍīva (bow). Mātali, therefore, praised that (feat).
