Aṣṭāvakra said: We two have come here to witness the (yajña) sacrifice of King Indradyumna, and we are indeed eager to speak with and see King Janaka. O doorkeeper, do not prevent us from entering out of anger, nor treat us as if we were afflicted with a grave disease. Grant us entry instantly.
