महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-105, verse-25

कपिलं च महात्मानं तेजोराशिमनुत्तमम् ।
तपसा दीप्यमानं तं ज्वालाभिरिव पावकम् ॥२५॥
25. kapilaṁ ca mahātmānaṁ tejorāśimanuttamam ,
tapasā dīpyamānaṁ taṁ jvālābhiriva pāvakam.
25. kapilam ca mahātmānam tejorāśim anuttamam
tapasā dīpyamānam tam jvālābhiḥ iva pāvakam
25. And they saw Kapila, the great-souled one (mahātman), an unsurpassed mass of effulgence, blazing with asceticism (tapas) like fire with its flames.
