Vaiśampāyana said: In this manner, the Pārthas (sons of Pṛthā), having been defeated in gambling and angered by the wicked-minded Dhārtarāṣṭras (sons of Dhṛtarāṣṭra) along with their ministers, departed from Gajasāhvaya (Hastinapura).
