महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-1, verse-30

ते युष्मासु समस्ताश्च व्यस्ताश्चैवेह सद्गुणाः ।
इच्छामो गुणवन्मध्ये वस्तुं श्रेयोऽभिकाङ्क्षिणः ॥३०॥
30. te yuṣmāsu samastāśca vyastāścaiveha sadguṇāḥ ,
icchāmo guṇavanmadhye vastuṁ śreyo'bhikāṅkṣiṇaḥ.
30. te yuṣmāsu samastāḥ ca vyastāḥ ca eva iha sadguṇāḥ
icchāmaḥ guṇavatmadhye vastum śreyasabhikāṅkṣiṇaḥ
30. Those excellent qualities (saguṇa) are present in you, both collectively and individually, right here. We, who desire welfare (śreyas), wish to reside among the virtuous.
