महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-1, verse-25

येषां त्रीण्यवदातानि योनिर्विद्या च कर्म च ।
तान्सेवेत्तैः समास्या हि शास्त्रेभ्योऽपि गरीयसी ॥२५॥
25. yeṣāṁ trīṇyavadātāni yonirvidyā ca karma ca ,
tānsevettaiḥ samāsyā hi śāstrebhyo'pi garīyasī.
25. yeṣām trīṇi avadātāni yoniḥ vidyā ca karma ca tān
sevet taiḥ samāsyā hi śāstrebhyaḥ api garīyasī
25. One should associate with those whose three aspects—birth, knowledge, and conduct (karma)—are pure. Indeed, companionship with such individuals is even more significant than the scriptures.
