महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-1, verse-19

अधर्मेण जिताञ्श्रुत्वा युष्मांस्त्यक्तघृणैः परैः ।
उद्विग्नाः स्म भृशं सर्वे नास्मान्हातुमिहार्हथ ॥१९॥
19. adharmeṇa jitāñśrutvā yuṣmāṁstyaktaghṛṇaiḥ paraiḥ ,
udvignāḥ sma bhṛśaṁ sarve nāsmānhātumihārhatha.

19. Having heard that you were conquered by unrighteousness (adharma) at the hands of merciless enemies, we are all greatly distressed. You should not abandon us here.
