16. yudhiṣṭhira uvāca ,
anyenānyasya viṣamaṁ devanaṁ pratibhāti me ,
etadvidvannupādatsva kāmamevaṁ pravartatām.

Yudhiṣṭhira said: 'It seems improper (viṣamam) to me for one person to play the game of dice (devanam) on behalf of another. Knowing this, accept it as you wish; let it proceed thus.'
