महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-17, chapter-2, verse-26

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
इत्युक्त्वा तं महाबाहुर्जगामानवलोकयन् ।
श्वा त्वेकोऽनुययौ यस्ते बहुशः कीर्तितो मया ॥२६॥
26. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
ityuktvā taṁ mahābāhurjagāmānavalokayan ,
śvā tveko'nuyayau yaste bahuśaḥ kīrtito mayā.
26. vaiśampāyana uvāca iti uktvā tam mahābāhuḥ jagāma anavalokayan
śvā tu ekaḥ anuyayau yaḥ te bahuśaḥ kīrtitaḥ mayā

26. Vaiśampāyana said: Having spoken thus, the mighty-armed Yudhiṣṭhira went on without looking back at him. But one dog followed, which I have repeatedly mentioned to you.
