महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-17, chapter-2, verse-11

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
इत्युक्त्वा तु समुत्सृज्य सहदेवं ययौ तदा ।
भ्रातृभिः सह कौन्तेयः शुना चैव युधिष्ठिरः ॥११॥
11. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
ityuktvā tu samutsṛjya sahadevaṁ yayau tadā ,
bhrātṛbhiḥ saha kaunteyaḥ śunā caiva yudhiṣṭhiraḥ.
11. vaiśampāyana uvāca iti uktvā tu samutsṛjya sahadevam yayau
tadā bhrātṛbhiḥ saha kaunteyaḥ śunā ca eva yudhiṣṭhiraḥ
11. Vaiśampāyana said: Having spoken thus, Yudhishthira, the son of Kunti, then proceeded along with his brothers and the dog, abandoning Sahadeva.
