महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-17, chapter-2, verse-22

अवमेने धनुर्ग्राहानेष सर्वांश्च फल्गुनः ।
यथा चोक्तं तथा चैव कर्तव्यं भूतिमिच्छता ॥२२॥
22. avamene dhanurgrāhāneṣa sarvāṁśca phalgunaḥ ,
yathā coktaṁ tathā caiva kartavyaṁ bhūtimicchatā.
22. avamene dhanurgāhān eṣa sarvān ca phalgunaḥ yathā
ca uktam tathā ca eva kartavyam bhūtim icchatā
22. eṣa phalgunaḥ avamene sarvān ca dhanurgāhān.
yathā ca uktam,
tathā ca eva bhūtim icchatā kartavyam.
22. This Phalguna (Arjuna) scorned all other bow-wielders. As was declared, so indeed should it be done by one desiring prosperity.
