महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-67, verse-10

सापि बाष्पकलां वाचं निगृह्याश्रूणि चैव ह ।
सुसंवीताभवद्देवी देववत्कृष्णमीक्षती ॥१०॥
10. sāpi bāṣpakalāṁ vācaṁ nigṛhyāśrūṇi caiva ha ,
susaṁvītābhavaddevī devavatkṛṣṇamīkṣatī.
10. sā api bāṣpakalām vācam nigṛhya aśrūṇi ca eva
ha suṣaṃvītā abhavat devī devavat kṛṣṇam īkṣatī
10. sā api bāṣpakalām vācam ca eva ha aśrūṇi nigṛhya
devī devavat kṛṣṇam īkṣatī suṣaṃvītā abhavat
10. She too, restraining her tear-choked voice and indeed her tears, became well-composed, gazing at Kṛṣṇa as if he were a deity.
