सत्त्वात्परतरं नान्यत्प्रशंसन्तीह तद्विदः ।
अनुमानाद्विजानीमः पुरुषं सत्त्वसंश्रयम् ।
न शक्यमन्यथा गन्तुं पुरुषं तमथो द्विजाः ॥६॥
अनुमानाद्विजानीमः पुरुषं सत्त्वसंश्रयम् ।
न शक्यमन्यथा गन्तुं पुरुषं तमथो द्विजाः ॥६॥
6. sattvātparataraṁ nānyatpraśaṁsantīha tadvidaḥ ,
anumānādvijānīmaḥ puruṣaṁ sattvasaṁśrayam ,
na śakyamanyathā gantuṁ puruṣaṁ tamatho dvijāḥ.

sattvāt parataram na anyat praśaṃsanti
iha tadvidaḥ anumānāt vijānīmaḥ

Here, those who know praise nothing superior to purity (sattva). Through inference, we understand the cosmic person (puruṣa) as being supported by (sattva). O twice-born ones, it is not possible to comprehend that (puruṣa) otherwise.
