महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-48, verse-20

धनानि केचिदिच्छन्ति निर्धनत्वं तथापरे ।
उपास्यसाधनं त्वेके नैतदस्तीति चापरे ॥२०॥
20. dhanāni kecidicchanti nirdhanatvaṁ tathāpare ,
upāsyasādhanaṁ tveke naitadastīti cāpare.
20. dhanāni kecit icchanti nirdhanatvam tathā apare
| upāsyasādhanam tu eke na etat asti iti ca apare
20. kecit dhanāni icchanti tathā apare nirdhanatvam
tu eke upāsyasādhanam ca apare na etat asti iti
20. Some people desire wealth, while others desire poverty. Still, some aspire to the means for meditation or worship. And yet others believe, "This (means) does not exist."
