महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-32, verse-22

नाहमात्मार्थमिच्छामि मनो नित्यं मनोन्तरे ।
मनो मे निर्जितं तस्माद्वशे तिष्ठति नित्यदा ॥२२॥

22. nāhamātmārthamicchāmi mano nityaṁ manontare ,
mano me nirjitaṁ tasmādvaśe tiṣṭhati nityadā.

22. I do not desire anything for my own personal (ātman) benefit. The mind is constantly moving from one object to another. However, my mind has been completely conquered; therefore, it always remains under my control.
