अहो कष्टं यदस्माभिः पूर्वं राज्यमनुष्ठितम् ।
इति पश्चान्मया ज्ञातं योगान्नास्ति परं सुखम् ॥२९॥

29. vismitaścāpi rājarṣirimāṁ gāthāṁ jagāda ha ,

iti paścānmayā jñātaṁ yogānnāsti paraṁ sukham.

The astonished royal sage (rājarṣi) indeed spoke this verse: "Alas, how lamentable that kingship was formerly practiced by us! Thus, it was known by me later that there is no supreme happiness (sukha) beyond (yoga)."
